I have penned a play called Guilt that Washington DC’s wonderful Scena Theatre plans to produce in 2017. It explores the overlays and collisions between sexual and spiritual rapture: how one might fuel the other, and how one might be misconstrued as the other.
Unfortunately the Australian embassy there has been unable to do what other countries’ embassies do when approached by Scena, and chip in to the production costs. This has left a budget shortfall that I am trying to address via an Australian Cultural Fund crowd-funding campaign to raise $11,600. To see Guilt go on in DC would be a dream come true for me.
